Finger Floggers

Finger floggers

I love my handled floggers. When I turn them on my lathe I love holding the wood in my hand and feeling the curves form and melt under my chisel until they fit my hand just right.

Unfortunately about ten years ago I started noting that my hands would cramp up during long scenes and as time went on that pain never went away. These days I even have difficulty with my mini bull whip. A lot of people live with arthritis and other ailments that make gripping items difficult.

So this year I doubled down on my finger floggers and introduced a smaller, lighter and more economical version of my full size flogger. A couple of weeks ago I watched this idea make a real difference for someone that couldn’t easily lift a standard flogger but got a big smile on their face as they threw the mini finger flogger for the first time. That moment still makes me smile.

If you are curious about learning how to use a flogger, give my finger floggers a try. The full size are the same length and weight as my handled ones but are $90 cheaper and the minis clock in at only $35. Plus there are loads of colours, styles and sensations to choose from.
