The Martinet was originally used in the French school system as part of corporal punishment. It was typically used on the legs and is very stingy. My version is made from thick full grain leather and has a slightly flexible handle while the original had a wooden handle. You can use it similar to a flogger or as a paddle. At approximately 49cm (19”) it is the perfect size for the dungeon or bedroom.
