I found this dragonfly on the ground outside of my shop. It had dried perfectly in the sun so I picked it up and saved it on a shelf in my leather room for the summer.
I had some walnut left from my old house and some nice Birdseye maple that provided an almost water like background. This is a one of a kind piece as I will most likely never find a dragonfly like this again. A beautiful ritual paddle.
