This slapper is 2” wide and 16” long with a steel core handle. It is made from 8/ 10oz water Buffalo. It is thicker and wider than your typical belt but the leather is softer which makes for a very good introduction to belts. It gives a loud crack but is unlikely to leave marks and bruises. It has a good mix of thump and sting.
While it has a budget friendly price, it is hand made from very good materials and will give years of service.
